STATE REFORM ADVOCATES ASK NEW ATTORNEY GENERAL SHAPIRO TO INVESTIGATE THE KATHLEEN KANE, STACY PARKS MILLER, BRUCE CASTOR CONNECTIONS
In a letter dated September 17, 2017, statewide government reform advocates have officially filed a Compliant and a Request for an Investigation involving former Pennsylvania Attorney General and now convicted felon Kathleen Kane, Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller and former Pennsylvania Solicitor General under Kathleen Kane Bruce Castor. Castor had also been Stacy Parks Miller’s private attorney.
The Complaint specifically asks the new Attorney General, Josh Shapiro to investigate all the facts surrounding former Attorney General and now convicted felon Kathleen Kane’s decision not to prosecute Stacy Parks Miller.
The complaint also asks the new Attorney General to look at the facts surrounding Castor’s involvement with the County District Attorney’s Office while also being a private attorney to Stacy Parks Miller and a state employee.
The advocates are asking that the new Attorney General gather the facts and articulate a clear policy that outlaws such situations from existing in the Office of Attorney General.
Eric Epstein and Gene Stilp are two of leading advocates that overturned the infamous middle of the night illegal legislate pay raise last decade and have continued to fight against wasteful and illegal policies in the legislative, the judicial and executive branches for more than the last ten years.
Complaint and Request for Investigation are attached.
