STILP ASKS THE SUPREME COURT DISCIPLINARY BOARD TO BEGIN PROCESS OF REVOKING KATHLEEN KANE’S LAW LICENSE;
COMPLAINT AND REQUEST FOR INVESTIGATION FILED
GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED TO FORCE KANE FROM OFFICE BY LABOR DAY; SEND SUITCASES TO KANE TELLING HER TO GET PACKING AND LEAVE
“KANE IS NOT ABLE” SLOGAN HIGHLIGHTS CAMPAIGN
Gene Stilp has come out of retirement for one specific purpose: Kathleen Kane must be forced to resign as Pennsylvania’s Attorney General. In pursuit of that goal, Stilp has filed a complaint and a request for an investigation with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Attorneys Disciplinary Board. The body of the complaint is attached to this release.
In addition Stilp announced the start of a campaign to send Kathleen Kane packing back to Scranton by Labor Day. Stilp said, “ We have adopted a version of the slogan that comes from the trucking firm she was previously associated with, “Kane is Not Able.” She is a defendant and as such she cannot be an effective or believable attorney general.” Stilp continued, “Send your old suitcases to Kane and tell her to get packing and head back to Scranton.”
Kane was recently indicted for her role in the release of secret Grand Jury testimony. While she had not been convicted, Stilp maintains that an attorney general has a higher standard to maintain, the citizens must have confidence and trust in an elected attorney general and Pennsylvania does not need the continuation of the corruption culture that Pennsylvania has suffered through for the last decade. Stilp said, “Pennsylvania should be totally focused on getting the budget done and Kane is providing a massive distraction. If she has any decency left, she needs to leave and leave soon.”
