On February 18, 2015, Rock the Capital (“RTC”) filed Right to Know (“RTK”) requests with the State Employees’ Retirement System (“SERS”). RTC verbally amended the request on February 19, 2015. SERS provided an interim response on February 25, 2015, and a final response on March 25, 2014.
Former Treasurer Rob McCord, former Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Ethics Act violators, former Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission felons, and retired Porngaters are receiving pension payments despite their misdeeds as publicly elected officials.
In addition, several individuals who have not yet enrolled in the state’s pension plan, stand to receive generous post-retirement benefits.
