Reform Group Asks for Mr. Tomalis’ Pension to be Calculated at Lower Rate

Data obtained through Right to Know requests demonstrate that former Secretary of Education Ronald Tomalis is exploiting a loophole – known as the “footprint rule” – to increase the amount of his retirement payout.

Ronald Tomalis served as the Pennsylvania Department of Education Executive Deputy Secretary under former Governor Tom Ridge from 1995 to 2001.
